Return Policy

Plants, Trees & Shrubs

Our goal is to carry the finest plant material in the High Country. We expend a lot of effort and energy caring for and maintaining our quality plants and educating you, our valued customer, in the proper care for your ultimate gardening success! Upon purchase of a plant, once the plant leaves our property, the care responsibility falls on the purchaser; therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges on plants of any kind. If you have care questions or need help choosing the right plant for your space, please speak with any of our team members to ensure your gardening success! 

Decor & Misc. Items

Decor and other shop items may be exchanged for store credit only with a valid receipt within 7 days of purchase. All open or damaged products will not be accepted for exchange or store credit. As a local, family-owned & operated small business, we do not accept refunds.

Hold Policy

Trees & Shrubs

Trees & Shrubs may be placed on hold upon purchase for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the purchaser will receive a reminder to pick up their plants. If items are not picked up within 2 weeks of purchase, they will be placed back into inventory, and the purchaser will receive a store credit for the purchase. Due to the constant care and responsibility of the plants, we cannot hold live material for more than a 2-week period and without prior payment.

Our Guarantee

The Mustard Seed Market has been a small, local, family-owned, and operated business since 1992. We pride ourselves in serving the high country and surrounding areas with healthy, flourishing plants and guarantee these plants are in good condition while on our property. In addition, we have cultivated and trained knowledgable team members to help our customers with all needs during their visit to our shops. 

We experience busy days and time-consuming deliveries throughout our season; therefore, we cannot always guarantee one-on-one assistance with a team member during your shop visit. However, we do our best to staff our employees based on season to have someone available for questions at all times. Please use the form below to submit an appointment request if you wish to make a prior appointment to guarantee dedicated assistance with one of our team members or specialists during your visit.
